AMT Electronics BC-1 Bass Crunch Guitar Preamp:

OK all you bass players out there, we haven't forgotten about you! We have created here at AMT, what we believe to be the most versitile, compact, best sounding bass guitar preamp ever created! Running on 18vDC power or 2 9v batteries, this is one house shaking bass preamp.

Features of BC-1:
The BC-1 is equipped with 2 channels of bass circuitry.

CLEAN CHANNEL CH1 - Perfect for bass players that want to remain pure in tone (no distortion), but want to sculp or EQ their tone. Provides the player with Low, Mid, and High knobs for dialing in that perfect sweet spot. The clean channel can also act as a bass clean boost pedal, by increasing the level or gain knobs.

DRIVE CHANNEL CH2 - The second channel of the BC-1 is the drive channel and will add any amount of smooth bass overdrive or cutting vulgar bass distortion. CH2 also offers the same Low, Mid, High, Level, and Gain knobs as Ch1. However, CH2 also is equipped with a very useful Freq Rolloff knob that sets the limit on the frequency the player wants the distortion or overdrive to be active. This is an extremely useful control, which most bass overdrive pedals do not have. You will be able to dial in a pefect bass distortion without getting that nastly grumbling low end noise.

Extra Controls:
Not stopping at the controls already mentioned, there is also a Master Volume and Blend knob on the BC-1. The Master Volume of course will adjust the overall loudness of the pedal. The Blend knob is a super usable feature that allows the player to blend and mix any amount of CH1 and CH2 together to get the perfect signal mix.

Footswitch DRIVE – Drive channel on/off
LED – Drive channel on indicator
Footswitch HI/LO – Drive channel increased sensitivity on/off.
LED – HI/LO mode with Drive channel increased sensitivity on indicator.

Direct to Amplifier or Computer/DAW/Mixer
As all AMT pedals, the BC-1 Bass Crunch pedal is equipped with dual outputs. One for connection to a guitar amplifier, and one for direct connection to a computer, DAW, or mixing device. Into home or studio recording? Never again will you have to connect your mics, preamps, cables, and mic stands to get a great recorded guitar tone. Everything you need is built in to the SS-11. Simply choose the speaker simulated cabinet output, and you're ready to make professional studio-grade recordings with no extra effort!
